February 2019 Recap:
Shana Thornhill was kind enough to demonstrate her Erlbacher Gearhart knitting machine. It was fascinating to see her process and watch her work. She said it typically takes her 4 hours to finish a basic sock, more for more intricate designs. While the design of these machines harkens back to the early 1900s, they’re still made in Cape Girardeau, Missouri!
