CKKG is comprised of volunteer knitters. Fortunately, knitters are resourceful! CKKG leadership is comprised of a volunteer Board Members & CKKG Members. The Board Members are primarily responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the guild, maintaining communication with members and organizing meetings and events. If you are interested in helping out, please let us know! The more active members, the better the guild! In order to establish CKKG, a Board was developed to complete all the necessary tasks of maintaining an organization.
The 2021 CKKG Board:
Chair: Nancy Davis
Treasurer: Jeanne Groves
At Large Members: Pam Hurd, Debbe Jantz, Lorrie Kessler, Ashley Smith

I am interested in possibly joining. I was wondering if you allow for a free visit to see? I live in Wichita so it would be a little bit of a drive for me. I also have a 16 yr. old daughter who knits. Thanks, Kim
Yes, anyone is welcome to come and check out the guild a few times before they need to pay for a membership! We have quite a few members from the Wichita area (including myself), so if you are interested in carpooling let me know. We are wanting to get some carpool groups going. I hope you and your daughter can join us in February! We have a packed agenda! You can also find us on Ravelry. Kim
I would like to invite members of the Central Kansas Knitters Guild to become acquainted with Heartland Farm, a bit to the west of most of your members. Check our or website: http://www.heartlandfarm-ks.org and our Facebook page. We have a small herd of alpacas and offer both millspun and handspun yarns for sale. In addition, we have guest facilities at the Farm for small groups or individuals. We could provide a great spot for a knitters’ get-away and introduce you, if you haven’t tried it, to the joy of knitting with the lovely natural colors and luxurious fiber of our alpacas. Hope to connect with you for some fun collaborations.
Sr. Jane for Heartland Farm
Jane, thank you for the invitation. Alpacas are a beautiful animal with lovely fiber that we appreciate immensely. I’m sure we will be in touch with another resource from Kansas! Thank you, Janice Powers, SCKKG President
