Next Tuesday, Nov 13th from 6-8pm at the Cooper Education Center (just 1 block East of the Harvey County Courthouse in Newton). *Check our Ravelry page for more information and carpool details. It’s that time of year, time to get serious about your holiday knitting! The theme for the November meeting is Holiday Knitting. Everyone will leave with a ton of new, trendy gift ideas for friends and family…and if you don’t knit for others during the holiday, many of these make excellent gifts throughout the year. We will have access to Ravelry to view patterns. Please plan to share your top 3 favorite gift patterns that you use or have found.
The November meeting will also consist of Show n’ Tell (don’t forget all of your Yarn Hop purchases), a bit of Guild business and we will be kicking off our Wrap It Up! Knit-a-Long! See the sidebar or our Ravelry page for details.
If you are planning to participate, please bring your yarn for the KAL. We will have the info cards for you to fill out & will discuss all of the details. *We will have a ball winder available, but if you have one at home…please bring the yarn wound. Don’t forget the label, so that you can fill out the info card. I’m so excited, I can’t wait. I heard several members on the Hop talking about picking up a special skein of yarn for their project. This is a great way to knit with yarns that you haven’t had a chance to experience. Plus, you will receive your yarn back knitted into an awesome accessory! If you can’t make the meeting, please email us and we can arrange to get your yarn.
