At the last meeting, Nancy introduced us to the first part of her mystery knit-a-long (MKAL). If you want to join us on this fun project, here is a copy of the instructions: MKAL September – November 2018.

Next Marnette shared with us her experiences with using natural dyes. She brought some example skeins, and told us how we could get a variety of hues with different mordants and dye ingredients. Some books for further information include “Nature Provides Dyes for Rainbows” by Carol Leigh, “The Dye-Pot” by Mary Frances Davidson, and “A Weaver’s Garden” by Rita Buchanan.
