Summer Bus Trip to Brown Sheep Yarn

We are pleased to announce a bus trip to Brown Sheep Yarn Company (http://brownsheep.com/)in Mitchell, Nebraska!

June 16 to 18

A charter bus will take participants to Gering, Nebraska, where a block of hotel rooms has been reserved for $83 plus tax ($9.96) at the Monument Inn and Suites (http://www.monumentinnsuites.com/). Please call to reserve your room, and mention you are with the Central Kansas Knitters’ Guild Brown Sheep to get the special group rate.

The next morning, after a hot breakfast at the hotel, the participants will ride the bus over to the mill, where the group will be split up in to smaller groups. Each group will enjoy a tour of the mill while in production (may or may not be in production for all of the tour groups depending on the amount of work on Fridays), ending with an opportunity to shop to our hearts content at the outlet store.

After the completion of the tour, with our wonderful yarny treasures, we will once again board the bus and head back home. We will split up the trip in two with a stop in Kearney, Nebraska, so the trip is more relaxed with plenty of time to knit, crochet, visit or even sleep. In Kearney, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Best Western for $109.99 a night plus tax. Please mention that you are with the Central Kansas Knitters’ Guild Brown Sheep to get the group rate.

The next morning, we will eat a hot breakfast at the hotel, and then depart for home.

We will make stops along the way to eat. Food and rooms are not included with the registration cost.
