The October 13th meeting is at the Harvey County Courthouse!

Join us for the October 13th Central Kansas Guild Meeting from 6 pm – 8 pm

We have a jammed pack agenda this month! First off, don’t forget to bring your mini-skeins and continue swapping to create more squares for your miter square blankets! We will continue to have the mini-skein swap as long as guild members need them! Don’t forget your purple baby hats as well. We are collecting these hats to be handed out to parents to remind them about the purple period of crying. Let’s try to bring as many hats as possible to show our support!

We are also ready for out second clue for our Mystery KAL (knit along). I hope everyone is knitting away to keep up with the clues! I can’t wait to see the finished items that all of you will have when we are done! You might want to gift it to someone special for Christmas.

The program this month is a topic we have had numerous requests for. Join Jeanne as she goes over Math for knitters. I am hopeful that this will help many of us in improving the finished fit of our knitted items when we know how to calculate the right amount of rows and stitches and other important math equations. I hope you all are as excited about this month’s meeting as I am! I know it will be a fun filled evening.

So please join us for some knitting, snacks, visiting and of course the opportunity to learn more about knitting and share your finished projects.

September Meeting Recap

We had a busy meeting in September with lots of beautiful items for Show & Tell – and some important announcements.

There is still space available for the Fall Retreat on Halloween, but it is filling up fast so don’t put off signing up!

We are still collecting Purple Hats, so bring them to the October meeting.

One correction on the Mystery KAL – decrease 2 stitches on the last eyelet row (the pattern will be attached at the end of the post).

And IMPORTANT!!!!!!  Don’t forget that the October meeting will be at the Harvey County Courthouse (where we used to meeting on 7th and Main in Newton).  Only the October meeting.  We will send out more reminders as the meeting gets closer.

And now for the lovely Show & Tell!
