June Yarn Bombing and May Meeting and Trip Recap
Monday, June 11 is International Yarn Bombing Day. Let’s get together in downtown Newton to do some yarn-bombing that evening. We’ll meeting at Military Park by the Newton Public Library, by the cannon sculpture, at 5:30 PM. We will take our knitted items and yarn bomb SOMETHING in that area, two or three somethings if we have enough yarn items. Feel free to join us, and bring a knitted or crocheted square or two (12″ x 12″ish) to contribute if you can. We will be done before 6:30. Also, June 16 is official “Knit in Public” day, so gather some friends and find a public venue to knit! Otherwise there is no meeting in June.
